Paleofuture
As a branding exercise at Parsons, students picked words out of a hat and then had to build a brand based off of that word. ‘Paleofuture’, a word that invokes both prehistoric times and sci-fi futurism became inspiration for me to conceptualize a snowboard brand that embodied the term. I created a logo, designs and an overall tone and mood that blended old and new, which covered odes to the past while being unmistakably modern, as the sport of snowboarding has only existed for a few decades and has a vast future ahead.
